Onion Chutney

2 onions
4 cloves garlic
1 inch piece ginger
2-3 green chillies
1 tbsp fresh coconut flakes
1 tbsp puffed chana (pottu kadalai)

In a pan, add 1 tsp oil and heat. To the hot oil, add all above ingredients and fry for 2-3 minutes. Add salt and grind in a blender for 2 min.

Serve with thosais or idlis.
